TERRY SCRUGGS

A 39-year-old Berea resident, says the instruction he receives at Somerset Community College is providing him with the foundation he needs to become an engineer.

“The thing I like the most about it is all the challenges they put on you. You’re learning something new every day, and then they’re training you on it, and they train you incredibly well.”

JOSH WHEELER

After being out of high school for several years, Josh Wheeler decided to further his education so he could get a better job. He was intrigued by the Industrial Maintenance program at Maysville Community and Technical College.

“I get to learn robotics, PLCs (programmable logic controllers) and much more. My instructor, Dave Hatton, also worked in manufacturing so he understands what my employer expects of me and did a great job preparing me for this career.”
